6 Ways to Use Reiki in Everyday Life

Reiki is so simple, yet it can become complicated when explaining. I have a lot of people who think that it is just something that is used for sessions and giving to others, but I love to teach that Reiki is for the self more than anything else. In this blog post I will give you six different ways to incorporate Reiki in every day life.

Cooking and Water:

One of my favorite ways to incorporate Reiki into my every day life. I don’t only use Reiki while cooking my meals for my family, but it is also amazing to take time to be mindful and give gratitude towards your food for at least 1 to 2 minutes. This is kind of my new “prayer” over my food. For my water I incorporate clear quartz crystals that are here from Little Rock Arkansas, and are Reiki infused. Doing these things increase the vibrations, which go into a match your frequencies for your alignment. This is also a great way to cleanse, to detox, into get rid of any unwanted energy that is placed within your food or water.

Every time I walk by the plant now I have to introduce myself using Reiki. You not only give to the plant, but the plant also gives to you. Using Reiki with plants allow you to better communicate with them, and also learn about them on a different way, on an energy level. Your garden will highly thank you, this is great for house plants, even wild plants you see growing in your front yard. Doing this will leave you feeling like you received a whole Reiki session.

Our pets are dealing with emotions the same way that we are. Sometimes they might be feeling anxious, depressed, or even overwhelmed. When my little pup is feeling bad, my favorite thing to do is give him some Reiki love. This is also a great way to introduce yourself to other pets, this is a great way to calm them down, and just to let them the loved.

Self healing:

I am a strong believer that no one can heal you but yourself. Over the past two years doing self healing has done more for myself than any other practice that I’ve used. It’s at the point now where I am healing myself without even realizing, just me touching certain parts of my body during different times of the day can do so much for myself. When I am doing yoga or Qigong I am constantly grabbing different parts of my body and focusing on that area for a little bit of time. During Reiki degree when you learn how to self heal, and I push to my students so much that this is the most important part of this whole class. It’s not healing others it’s learning to use Reiki with yourself.

If you ever find yourself in a space where you are not feeling comfortable, you can feel something’s off in the air, or you may not be able to put your finger on it, you can use Reiki to cleanse the space. You learn a little bit more about this within degree to when you learn your symbols, but it is a good thing to start practicing within degree one. You have the ability to shift the energy around you this is a really fun practice to do.

I love knowing how powerful my attuned hands are. I highly recommend for all energy workers to at least get degree one so that they can start incorporating Reiki within their products or services. It really enhances you as a healer. Not even putting your energy within something but to prepare a product for that person and their energy is what it’s all about in my opinion. Every product that I make or give to any of my clients has been Reiki attuned in preparation for them and their healing journey.

Those are just a few ways to use Reiki every day life. If you’re interested in learning I am Reiki master and I am currently teaching degree one. Like I said I strongly believe that absolutely everyone should at least learn degree one, not just people within the “spiritual community”. Teachers, parents, chefs, and even people who create products could all benefit from Reiki degree one. If you’d like to learn with me, click here…
